Hello, I’m Janis Hatcher
Just a country girl committed to succeeding with God’s help
Country girl at heart who loves to cook, bake, travel, and read. Served 27 years in the Active Army as Logistics Officer. Bachelor’s in Hotel and Restaurant Management; Masters in Logistics Management; and PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource.
I’ve always wanted to own a soul food restaurant since high school. I would often tell people that was what I was going to do in my future life. After having the bakery built in 2018, I was approached and asked if I wanted to purchase the house next door in 2019. It was VERY challenging working with city personnel to get my plans approved to convert a house into a restaurant, but I was determined and not giving up. Despite the roadblocks and unnecessary delays, the Lord gave me my hearts desire. So, I will lift up His name and encourage His people.
The colors are unique. The red symbolizes the blood of Jesus covering my buildings, the blue is a Heavenly blue, and yellow is warming and inviting.
